This famous vineyard not far from the Russian River proper is diligently farmed by the Martinelli family.
A combination of two clones which were picked together and co-fermented – UCD 04 Pommard and Dijon Clone 828 aka Archery Summit 2.
It sports a pretty but not super-dark ruby color and layers of flavors bloom from the glass after only a few minutes of opening.
This is your best bet for drinking now – but something tells us it will go the distance just as beautifully as its stablemates.
