This historical-style lager encapsulates everything Luppolo love and respect about brewing.

Intentionally made the hard way to pay respect to the beers and brewers that have paved the path before them by using traditional methods.

A triple decoction, with under-modified floor-malted pilsner malt from Hogarth Malt in Alberta provides a deep and complex grain character which is balanced by the earthy and grassy notes from the heavy additions of whole leaf saaz hops.

They then lagered a portion of the beer in neutral oak barrels to add rustic notes and emulate the historical lagers of times before.

Kreusened and conditioned in the can for natural carbonation which provides a smooth mouthfeel and helps carry the bitterness to the back of the palate creating high drinkability.
